In the declassified archival documents, there is only a small part of the evidence of the unprecedented amount of heroism of the soldiers and commanders of the Red Army, which crashed the Hitler's in tatters "Plan Barbarossa," says the website devoted to the publication of documents.
The Department of Information and Mass Communications together with the Central Archive of the Ministry of Defense were searching for documents and digitizing it. Declassified documents pose "a barrier to the growing falsification of history" and debunk "many of its false myths," note the department.
