September 2, 2018 the Museum-Reserve "Borodino Field" (Moscow region) will host the International Military Historical Festival, dedicated to the 206th anniversary of the Battle of Borodino.
Traditionally, the event is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Russian Military Historical Society and the International Military Historical Association.
From August 30, as part of the festival there will be interactive sites of clubs of military historical reenacting. The key events on September 2 will be the following: the ceremonial at the Main Monument to the Russian soldiers - the Heroes of Borodino (Raevsky's Battery) and the military historical reenacting of the combat episodes of the Battle of Borodino.

Ceremonial at the monument at the command post of Napoleon:
- solemn formation of military historical reenacting clubs;
- speeches of honorable guests of the holiday;
- laying of flowers at the monument to the "The Fallen Great army".
11.30-12.00 - Battery of Rayevsky
Ceremonial at the Main monument to Russian soldiers - Heroes of Borodino:
- commemoration of the fallen soldiers (lithium);
- solemn formation of military historical reenacting clubs;
- speeches of honorable guests of the holiday;
- the awarding of military honors and laying of flowers.
