"Light of the Great Victory"- a patriotic action will be held in Volgograd

In Volgograd, on the days of the FIFA World Cup soccer matches on June 24, 25, 27 and 28, from 21:00 to 23:30, a large-scale patriotic action "The Light of the Great Victory" will take place on Mamayev Kurgan. The action is aimed to remind residents and visitors of the city - fans from different countries about the tragedy of the Great Patriotic War.

Due to modern technologies, the majestic sculpture "Motherland Calls!" seems to "come to life", presenting images of various historical events, illuminating everything around with the golden light glow.

The action "Light of the Great Victory" is traditionally held on Victory Day and enjoys great popularity, gathering thousands of spectators in Volgograd.

The organizer of the events is "The State Historical and Memorial Museum-Reserve" Stalingrad Battle " with the support of the regional branch of the Russian Military Historical Society in the Volgograd Region.
