The festival was opened for the public between June 30th and July 1st in the Peterhof Museum-Reserve (in park "Alexandria"). The main event of the annual festival will be a theatrical performance with elements of opera and ballet.
For two days a historical fair will function for the guests at the event. Also, there will be thematic lectures and master classes. Traditionally, historical reconstructors, dancers, acrobats, and musicians participate in the festival.
On the first day of the festival, on June 30th, spectators presented with a solemn equestrian carousel and mass performances. Carousel is a horse show with elements of military-historical reconstruction. The organizers of the event are going to show the costumes from the Renaissance period. The beginning of the colorful performance is at 13:00.
The Spanish quadrille will show the skill of equestrian ballet. Moorish - skillful possession of weapons at a race, Slavic quadrille - will amaze spectators with the skill of trick riding, and Indian quadrille - horse stunts. Four "kings" and their equestrian quadrilles competed for the main prize - the White Rose, the symbol of the Alexandria park.
On the second day of the festival, all spectators were invited to the Renaissance fair, where a theatrical performance took place.
The event took place with the support of the Regional Office of the Russian Military Historical Society. Entrance for children under 16 was free of charge. The festival is adapted for visiting by people with disabilities.
